Following communication of the draft to members under section 95.3, it takes account of the Office’s applicable guidelines, is transmitted to the Office and is published on the Order’s website under section 95.1. Every practising member completes at least ten hours of qualifying professional development each reference year under paragraph o of the first paragraph of section 94 of the Professional Code. Reference-year dates and reporting methods are published beforehand. Manufacturer or supplier training may qualify where relevant, verifiable and not solely promotional. Section 4 | ART_YHQKXN440C4T8PNW | Version 2 The Order publishes periodic ethics requirements countable within the ten-hour minimum. Initial admission ethics training remains distinct except where legally permitted equivalence is formally recognized. Written decisions explain resumption terms and available review. Suspension or limitations may only be imposed using fair process authorized by the Code. III - MAINTAINING COMPETENCE Section 11 | ART_YV41LNGE7Y0RME1E | Version 2 The ten hours are a general minimum and never excuse a member from further learning required by intended activities or changed applicable standards. Section 12 | ART_MDLCMMVRD2P1X8J6 | Version 2 The competent committee may impose reasoned and proportionate targeted training, examinations or placements based on career interruption, planned activities and technical changes. Requirements are reviewable by an independent body under the rules.
